When I add my mother and father to the tree, it automatically makes them spouses. My parents are separated, how do I add them both without adding spousal relationships among them?
When you add 2nd parent of a child and if no spouse is associated with first parent then tree will automatically link two parents as spouses. This can be changed from profile page. Click on Profile icon () on either parent. On profile page click on “Delete a Relation” button and then select spousal relationship to delete. Finally make sure to click “Save” button on profile page for changes to take effect.
