Macromedia Shockwave (v. 8.5.1) and Flash (v. 6) players must be installed for both IBM-PC and Macintosh computers. To check your Macromedia version click on the following link: Macromedia Shockwave/Flash Player. To troubleshoot your players go to: Shockwave Support Center and/or Flash Support Center. Get The PC Players , Get The MacPlayers For Macintosh computers (OS 8.1 to 9.2), Apple’s own Java virtual machine, Macintosh Runtime for Java (MRJ) version 2.2.5, should also be installed. MRJ is used to render Web pages using the Java language. For more information go here: Mac OS Runtime for Java 2.2.5 Software and Information. Get the Plugin For IBM-PC computers, Scripting of Java applets must be enabled in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. This can be done from the Security tab under Internet Options.
