When graphically solving a system of two linear equations, three outcomes can occur. What are they?

My math is a bit rusty and perhaps things have moved on since I did it. A linear equation is one that takes the form: y = mx + c and its a straight line on the xy graph. Somewhere, if the lines are not parallel, two linear equations are going to cross and usually you have to find the crossing point and possibly the angle at which they cross. If the lines are parallel, ie both equations have the same value of m, then obviously they are never going to cross. In such questions you may have to find the perpendicular distance between the lines. For the life of me I cannot think of a third outcome.
