When goldfish lay eggs do they put the eggs on the plants?
Yes they do,goldfish as someone suggested are not egg scatterers.I use use mop heads in my pond, really, they lay there eggs in the fronds, then they are easily removed as you can take out the whole thing without too much disturbance. If you are using plants in an aquarium, alternate between fake plants and real ones, they dig up fake ones, yes, but they eat real ones and the eggs will go too.Incidently watch out for eggs which look cloudy,as these are infertile and should be removed,if you leave them they grow mould which can affect the healthy eggs.good luck.
