When ganging a few Duet units, how do the multiple microphones work together?
When a couple of Duets are ganged together, only one Duet (we will refer to it as Duet #1) is connected directly to the communication link (PC or telephone); the output of the next Duet (#2) is fed as an input to Duet #1, the output of Duet #3 is fed as an input to Duet #2 and so on. Each of the Duets will use a sophisticated algorithm to sum up its own microphone signal with the output of the Duet down the line. The overall outcome is that the signal that is fed into the communication line is a weighted combination of the microphone signals of all the ganged Duets.
