When firing my primary weapon in 3-round burst mode, why don all 3 rounds come out at the same time like in Rainbow Six?
“3-round burst does still fire all in the same update; for better or worse, fixing this is not an option (lots of internal timing issues and whatnot, mostly related to varying framerates and network play). However, it does prevent you from pulling the trigger until they all would have left normally. So, you can’t spray a 3-round burst (and frankly, if you want to spray you shouldn’t be using it; 3-round burst is to put multiple rounds in the SAME target), but we have fixed the issue where people could empty a clip in 3-round burst much faster than on full auto.”* *A direct quote from Greg Stelmack, Core Engineer for Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear.
