When exiting slew mode some aircraft lurch forward, why?

You need to be sure that the aircraft is on the ground before switching off slew mode. This was introduced in FS2002 to avoid aircraft falling like stones after exiting slew mode in the air. Press A (default key) to firmly set the gear on the ground before pressing Y. To fix this permanently in an imported aircraft model you can change the static_cg_height line in the aircraft.cfg file (Contact Points section) until the plane sits at the same height in slew mode as in normal mode.
