When ERCOT receives a late payment, will they turn around and pay everyone they short paid the following day? How will this be tracked?
Payments are made to those who were short paid the next Bank day after the payments are received. ERCOT provides to all Market Participants payment details on all short payments and subsequent reimbursements of short pays. Details include the identity of each short-paying Invoice Recipient and the dollar amount attributable to that Invoice Recipient, broken down by Invoice numbers.
