They don’t stand in front of you and watch but they do stand behind you and listen. If you get caught swapping urine it is a federal crime and you will be looking at serious time and fines. It is a lot better to just get off the drugs and take the test. Also if you are driving and there is any kind of accident and you are involved you will be tested. If you fail at that point you will be found guilty of the wreck even if it is not your fault. If you can not give up the drugs you should probably not get the license. Hope I have been helpful.
