When doing a full weave (all hair cornrowed), how do you finish the weave?

I never sew-in a weave with all hair cornrowed. I like to always leave a little bit of the client’s hair out for a more natural look. Most of the time when I’m doing a weave, the cornrowed section is always braided straight back. That way I can sew as many tracks on as I want to make it thick or thin. The tracks are sewn across the braids (right to left), so it’s not hard at all. I have sewn some of my clients’ hair in the same manner you’re describing, but it is very time-consuming. In my opinion, braiding straight back works best.
