We believe in the Aging in Place model of care. This means that we are able to accept residents in all stages of Alzheimer’s. The majority of our neighbors will be in our home until the end of their lives. We work with the family in deciding when a resident needs to be moved, either temporarily or permanently, to a more appropriate level of care. This is a difficult decision to make. An acute medical crisis, (such as stroke or heart attack) necessitates an immediate resident transfer usually to a hopsital.
