When does the repair turnaround “clock start” regarding time commitments by Intermec service facilities?
The “clock starts” on the first full business day after the device to be repaired or inspected has arrived at the service facility and been logged in. This is done so that devices which may have arrived at the service facility at all times during the day (including before and after regular hours) will be certain of undergoing a uniform start to service processing. In the case of Time and Materials repair, the clock starts on the first full business day after the Purchase Order has been received.
