When does the pre-sale of Miley Cyrus concert tickets for American Express cardholders begin?
Miley Cyrus returns to KC this fall with a new paperless ticket system Miley Cyrus will be back in town this fall, and concert promoters are launching a new system to get around those ticket wars that upset so many fans in 2007. When tickets go on sale next week for her national tour, they will be paperless, a move that Ticketmaster says will quash scalping and put more tickets at face value into the hands of fans. But some parents are already expecting the new process to cause confusion. They’re expecting long lines to get into the Oct. 3 concert at Sprint Center, where employees for the first time will be dealing with an entire paperless concert. The process will require attendees to present credit cards used to purchase the tickets along with valid, matching identification. “We realize this isn’t the traditional way, so we want to give all the parents and fans the clearest information way in advance,” said Shani Tate Ross, director of communications and marketing for Sprint Center.
The pre-sale for American Express cardholders started June 10, 2009. Members of Miley Cyrus’s fan club could begin purchasing tickets starting Monday, June 8, 2009.
