If school have any concerns about a child’s progress, the Head Teacher or Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) will inform parents of their concerns and involve them in the decision to request the involvement of the Cognition and Learning Team. The involvement is negotiated at the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Planning meeting held in primary schools at the beginning of every term.
