• A ‘hit’ will increment every time a person visits the site (including page reloads), while a ‘visit’ will only increment the first time a person visits the site from a specific IP address and every 24-hour interval after that. If a visitor has cookies disabled or does not have JavaScript enabled in their browser, the Counter may not be able to pull the full range of statistics from that visitor.
