When does the Advising Center offer orientation sessions and what topics are discussed in the sessions?
The Advising Center offers orientation sessions to incoming freshmen and transfer students. In the sessions, students learn about the services provided by the Advising Center, the wide range of degree programs offered in the College of Liberal Arts, degree requirements—including the General Education Core Curriculum requirements, foreign language requirement, and minimum requirements for graduation—catalog designation, transfer course equivalencies, course policies and fees, and the application process for graduation.
