The added Missouri surcharge rate modification factor will be effective for basic professional liability insurance policies which have effective or renewal dates on or after July 1, 2000. If the provider’s annual renewal date is September 1st of each year, the additional surcharge amount would be added to that provider’s September 1, 2000 to September 1, 2001 Fund compliance period.
