When does the 2011 yard waste collection begin and end?

Yard waste collection began on Monday, March 21st and will continue through December 16th of this year. Yard waste must be in a 30-gallon paper (not plastic) yard waste bag or in a 32-gallon plastic or metal can labeled “Yard Waste Only” to be picked up. Yard waste pick-up is on the same day as your household garbage. For more information on trash collection, go to www.ci.peoria.il.us/garbage.
