When does Royal Marine training begin?
If you are referring to when an individual commences the 32 week inital training, this occurs on a two week cycle. Once the Commando’s have a sufficient amount of recruits (60) to undertake the course, it begins. Regarding holiday allocation, i believe once an individual becomes a RMC they receive 6 weeks Holiday each year. Often this is allocated like so, however it may vary from each person: Easter – 1 Week Summer – 3 Week’s Christmas – 2 Week’s I believe a 3 week holiday is issued to recruits who are undergoing the 32 week course after the 16th week.
