When does Lent end?
It is the day before Easter Sunday when Lent ends every year and the day it ends is called the Holy Saturday. If we talk of the concept of lent itself, it is of forty-day duration and it was during this period when new Christian are being baptized and they were taught the phenomenon of Christianity itself. If the beginning of Lent is being taken into consideration, it begins on Ash Wednesday and it falls one day after the Pancake Day. When the end of the lent is approaching, the Sunday in that week is called the Palm Sunday and it was on this day that it is believed that Jesus entered into Jerusalem and people laid down their palms at his feet. The importance of Lent can be felt by just looking at the seer number of people who go through rigorous process of Lent to show how much they love Jesus.
