When does cynicism become un-attractive?

there is a thing called “constructive criticism” and it depends on who is saying it to you (like a parent could tell a child; a superior could tell their understudy at work; a teacher could tell their pupil; a family member could instruct their relative; and going out on the limb here, sometimes a friend could tell their friend). Strangers are out of line in providing constructive criticism. And those who are so full of cynicism are angry about something either in their own life, are perturbed that someone is doing better than they are, they just have a beef about something that is coming out in ther conversation. Those need to look within. Probably they need some good constructive criticism back.

Nothing wrong with good old healthy cynicism but if you use it try and temper it with humour then you can hopefully avoid offending anyone. Some comments while being cynical will still bring a little relief if delivered with a smile attached.
