When does a student become liable/eligible for a tuition fee/tuition fee loan?
The payment of the tuition fee by SLC is triggered by receipt of the attendance confirmation report from the student’s University. Student liability/eligibility for a tuition fee/tuition fee loan is therefore taken as at confirmation of attendance i.e. 1st December 2007 for September 2007 start courses.
