When does a Common Construction Wage Scale expire?
The Indiana Department of Labor considers an adopted wage scale valid as long as the contract is awarded within twelve consecutive months after the date the scale is adopted. If the scope of the project has changed or the project bids are not awarded within twelve consecutive months, a new wage committee should be formed and a new wage scale should be adopted.
