Compensation is paid if damages are sustained in connection with the work. Enbridge pays fair and reasonable compensation for damages such as crop loss, work site access, and various kinds of inconvenience a landowner may experience. Compensation payments are also made for any other such damages as are spelled out in law and by the regulators. • Compensation may be available for: • the use of temporary work space • inconvenience or nuisance caused by pipeline construction or maintenance work • loss of use of the land • damages Compensation for these reasons is also calculated according to the market value of land in the area.
