When do Jehovahs Witnesses believe the world is going to end?
There is nothing wrong with the world its the unrighteous people that is going to end satan and his system of wickedness on the earth. Mathew 24: 2-14 there are signs to look for, also 2 Timothy 3:1-4 we see the signs there are for our day, they were written some 2 thousands years ago but we can see it is happening right now. The scriptures say that no knows the day or the hour but only the Father knows, but God is not unloving as to leave us in the lurch as to when he will bring an end to the system, he has given us signs. Gods Kingdom is the only solution to mankinds problems, his Kingdom is a heavenly Government that will not be passed on to any other human Governments it will crush and put an end to these.
We believe that these days is the end of this system of things. We believe that Jehovah god will put an end to this world. But he did not tell us when it will end. No one knows when it will end but him. We know that it is in the last days because all of the signs are here. It show in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. It says: “But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of god, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power, and from these turn away.” Don’t see, if not some, then all of these things in these days?
The Bible has not changed on this. It will come at a time when most do not expect it but Christ said that his followers should always live in expectation of it. This is why there have been many “false” expectations over the years for various reasons. We as Jehovah’s Witnesses keep looking for scriptural reasons why it may be upon us very soon. We do not believe in putting it off. “‘Therefore keep yourselves in expectation of me,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘till the day of my rising up to [the] booty, for my judicial decision is to gather nations, for me to collect together kingdoms, in order to pour out upon them my denunciation, all my burning anger; for by the fire of my zeal all the earth will be devoured. For then I shall give to peoples the change to a pure language, in order for them all to call upon the name of Jehovah, in order to serve him shoulder to shoulder.’ – Zephaniah 3:8,9 There is no current ideas pointing to a particular deadline being emphasized by Jehovah’s Witne
