When do I use FlexMaster versus ZoneDirectors?
FlexMaster compliments the management of Ruckus Access Points with ZoneDirectors. Typical large deployment of multiple sites (such as large Enterprise with headquarter and multiple branches) requires a FlexMaster for central management of multiple sites with distributed ZoneDirectors at the headquarter and branch offices. Certain features (such as Dynamic PSK, Guest Pass, Rogue AP detection, Mesh support) require the presence of the ZoneDirectors. Managing multiple ZoneDirectors (or standalone Access Points) is generally done by a centralized FlexMaster.
