When do I update intake information for a client into InfoNet?

Updating an intake: You should not update a clients intake information as it changes over time (e.g. employment or marital status, age), because we want to capture this information as is at the point of intake. However, it is sometimes necessary to add new information and InfoNet allows for this. If some of the clients information is not obtained at the first contact but at a later point in time, open the clients record and complete the blank or unknown fields, then click the Save button. Only the following fields should be updated if you learn new client information over time: referrals; residence; and offender information.
