they say to start as soon as the first tooth comes through for my son that was a little under 3 mths i went to the baby section and gerber makes the ones that you place on your finger with little soft bristles my son now at 18 mths knows that we brush his teeth in the morning and at night its good to start early and get them in the habit

You can buy very soft brushs for babies. You don’t need to brush hard or long but start now to get her used to having the brush in her mouth. If she is eating food she should be getting teeth brushed to prevent decay.

you are supposed to start before they have teeth cleaning gums with baby washcloth but you can still do this until you find a soft toothbrush don;t ever use toothpaste until they are two

You should start now. You can use a washcloth or a very soft toothbrush. If you want to use toothpaste (sometimes it makes them like the whole experience more) then make sure to get one with no fluoride and with xylitol – the xylitol will help protect her teeth without the use of fluoride. You should also start giving fluoride supplements if you don’t give her tap water or there is no fluoride in the tap water you give her.
