When do I need to request an Isolated Wetlands or other Non-404 Jurisdictional Permit from the State of North Carolina?
An Isolated Wetlands Permit is needed when the Corps determines that a wetland to be potentially impacted is not 404 jurisdictional. Isolated Wetlands Permits are issued by the Division of Water Quality, and is not a 401 Certification. The application process is similar to applying for a 401 Certification.
