When do I need to install a line amplifier for RG-6 IFL cable runs?

0

Per the StarBand Field Services Bulletin SB-0015-1.10, line amplifiers are required when RG-6 IFL cable runs exceed 140ft. When the IFL cable run exceeds 275 ft, RG-11 cable is recommended instead of RG-6. Please refer to the StarBand FSB below for instructions on installing the line amplifiers for the transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) IFL cables. Click here for the FSB on the use of line amplifiers and specific instructions and specifications on the use of and placement of line amplifiers.
