When do I need a monumentation map?

0

Only if there is a major or minor subdivision in conjunction with the Offsite Permit, a monumentation map may be required. The Survey Division of Development Services may require monuments at the time of map review. At other times, there may be a monumentation map indicated on the punch list prepared by the offsite inspector, but not required. A monumentation map is not required in all instances. This can be researched by the Survey Division in Development Services. Typically, if there are public streets at or near the perimeter of a subdivision, monumentation is required. Private streets do not require monumentation.
