When do I mark the Employee Class Change check box on the Position Change Form (PCF)?

The Employee Class Change check box will need to be marked any time you change the FTE on a position from one group to another. The complete list of Employee Class (E_Class) Codes can be found in the Banner Intro to HR Training Manual on page 53. Examples: 1. An SPA non-exempt position goes from 1.00 FTE to 0.75 FTE the E_Class would change from S2 SPA FT Perm non-exempt 100 to S3 SPA PT Perm non-exempt 75 to 99 2. An EPA 9 month faculty position changes from 0.50 FTE to 1.00 the E_Class would change from ED Faculty PT Perm 9mo 50 thru 74 to EA Faculty FT Perm 9mo 100 NOTE: To change a position outside of its current class (other than a change in the percent of time worked, i.e., FTE) requires a change through PeopleAdmin for the position to be reclassified.
