When do colleges conduct interviews for prospective applicants?

Jerome Cole: I think there are probably two primary time periods or timeframes, if you will, when colleges conduct interviews. The first is during the spring of a student’s junior year; you will see a lot of students that will be visiting college campuses during the spring and that’s when quite a few interviews take place. The other timeframe would be the fall of your senior year; so the months of September, October, November, December, traditionally when you see a lot of colleges interviewing seniors. So I would plan to look at those — from a planning’s standpoint I would look at those two periods that’s not to say that if they are not done during the summer or other timeframes, but those are the two primary periods when colleges conduct interviews.
