The #1 Sign that you’ve hit puberty is that you have pubic hair growing near your genitals. As to growth spurts some have growth spurts & some do not & instead of having growth spurts they grow the same amount that they would in the growth spurts but at a slower rate. For example if you grow 6 inches taller in a growth spurt in 1 year it’ll take you about 2 years to grow the 6 inches, but that’s when you grow gradually. But by the time you’re all done growing you’ll end up either the same height as your dad or more likely maybe even taller by about 3 inches. Because today the son is usually expected to end up taller than their dad by about 3 inches by the time he is all done growing.
