When do applicants receive the outcome of a CRB check?
Applicants do not receive an email from CRC, nor does CRC send them their Disclosure outcome. They receive the hard copy outcome direct from the CRB. Since it is posted on the same day that the outcome is posted to CRC, they will, in most cases receive the outcome at about the same time as the employer receives it from CRC.

Applicants who do not receive a Disclosure certificate from the CRB only have 28 days to apply for a copy so if their employer receives an outcome and they do not, thye should inform CRC or the CRB itself within that time.
