When do anti-virus program check e-mail files?
If set up properly, your anti-virus program will check both incoming and outgoing e-mail. Open your anti-virus program to check the settings. For Norton, double click on the Norton icon in the Task bar. Click on Options. On the left hand side there will be Choices and Settings will be on the right hand side. Choose E-mail protection. There must be a check by your e-Mail program.
