Current information will carry specific recommendations tailored to the event that is happening. Listen carefully. An event can affect you very differently depending on where you are. In some cases you’re better off staying where you are, or you may have to move. Make particular note of whether authorities recommend you stay where you are (shelter-in-place) or evacuate.
