The waist should be 6 or more inches smaller than the hips and chest measurements , we dont want abdominal fat at all to be the healthiest. The mirror shows the best progress as you increase your exercises and refine what you eat, dont ever diet per say , bad word all the way around. Change your lifestyle,,,,, and get what you want for a body, I did and will never add that 30 pounds extra again, much happier , good luck.
