When did UTi Worldwide go public?
UTi Worldwide’s initial public offering in the U.S. became effective on November 2, 2000. 4.7 million ordinary shares were offered by the Company for $15 per share. On November 15, 2000, the underwriters exercised their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 705,000 ordinary shares. On December 13, 2002, the Company completed a follow-on public offering of 5,750,000 ordinary shares, including the underwriters’ exercise of the over-allotment option, priced at $23 per share.
