When did the practice of rating a US President after his first 100 days in office begin?
The first time that rating came about was with Napoleon, when he came out of exile and returned to France. His first 100 days ended in Waterloo, which makes it odd why that has become a benchmark for today’s politicians. I realize that doesn’t helpfully answer the question, and feel free to toss a DR for that my way, but thought it was an interesting piece of history about your question.
