When did the new record first start taking shape?
It was last autumn. I can’t quite remember…I think it was early October/Late September. But we had a lot of the songs anyways, ‘cos we’re always writing, but we started pre-production around then, and then finished it by December. So, did you spend this whole period in the studio, or… Yeah it was one period in the studio – it was a month. But the difference this time with this record as opposed to the others was that we had a producer. So basically, the process was little bit different this time to how we normally make records. Why did you decide to take that route? Especially seeing as you’d already made the four albums without a producer… It was suggested to us… and it’s not we’ve never been open to it; it’s just always worked out that way. And we have worked with producers in the past, but never in the same capacity.
