The Electronic Commerce (EC) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002 No.2013) came into force on the 21 August 2002, except for Regulation 16 on the amendment of “Stop Now Orders” which came into force on the 23 October 2002. These Regulations transpose the Electronic Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC.
