A.The CID CG became “dual hatted” as both the Commanding General of CID and the Army’s Provost Marshal General during an official Pentagon ceremony on October 29, 2003. The CID command structure is still in place and will remain so with the functions of both CID and the Provost Marshal remaining the same.
