When did NIH begin using Adobe-based forms for electronic submission?
NIH began to pilot the Adobe forms in the fall of 2008 with a few select funding opportunity announcements and NIH officially transferred to Adobe-based forms for standing submission deadlines in January, 2009, and all electronic applications now use Adobe-based SF424 (R&R) forms for submission to NIH via Grants.gov. Additional information about the transition can be found by viewing the NIH Resources for the Adobe Transition page.
