On March 1, 2003 Newalta Corporation completed its conversion into Newalta Income Fund. The conversion was approved at a special meeting of shareholders and optionholders on February 24, 2003. On March 3, the closing price of Newalta common shares was $4.65 per share, or, $9.30 per unit.
