When did Lithuania proclaim its independence from Russia?
Lithuania proclaimed independence from Russian Empire and German Empire. Tdec’s claim that Lithuania declared independence from Germany is true, as a matter of fact, I learned that from Tdec myself, but Lithuania also proclaimed their independence from Russia on February 16, 1918 as well. You could say that Lithuania proclaimed their independence from Russia on Feb. 16, 1918, but they also claimed their independence from Germany.
