When did Lateral Dynamics invent the Three Link and Watts Linkage?
Lateral Dynamics DIDN’T invent the three link, nor the Watt’s linkage. Both of these devices have been used for decades in and out of the automotive industry. When we were faced with the decision of what to use to solve the problem of the best compromise for the rear suspension of earlier muscle cars, this combination was the obvious choice. We took the basic design of these structures and carefully applied it to solving an engineering problem.
