When did Finland first liberalise telecommunications networks and/or services?
The Finnish telecommunications legislation was substantially renewed in the 1980s and 1990s. The 1987 Telecommunications Act triggered liberalisation as it enabled the promotion of competition by granting competing telecommunications licences gradually for different branches of telecommunications.
