When did family matters and the cosby show first come on?
1989 for Family Matters and 1984 for Cosby show. I think Cosby show had more lessons in each episode,but that Family matters had more current up to date lessons that you can relate to. Cosby was a little too goody goody, Family matters was more outside the box with time machines and accepted the fact that bad stuff can happen.
