The exact year is questionable, not only because you could date it from the time that Jesus started his ministry or from slightly after his death, but also as the events in the New Testament are not consistent with known dates in history and the Gospels were written second or third hand. This is not mentioning that there is no hard evidence that Jesus actually existed, which makes the start date harder to pinpoint.

I think the day Mary believed that she was carrying Christ in her womb was the birth of Christianity. She was probably the first convert. Maybe as early as 4 BC.

Christianity started with Christ. When christ was 30 years old( that’s whe he started his ministry) and you know… he began to have followers. and you know… they ddn’t have That name back them but technically… that’s when it started.

Christianity has always been there, but no one found the way to heaven, and God sacrafised his son in 33 ad( as per the answers on this form). Or I should have said Jesus has always been there..
